Hello Steemit, hello world
I have now too hopped onto the unstoppable Steemit-train. Next stop: The Blockchain.
You haven't heard of me yet? That's unsurprising. I am neither a fan of Instagram, Twitter and so on nor do I have a Facebook Account. I did try to start a blog some time ago, but it never got far. I was lacking reader feedback and it felt like it was going nowhere. Steemit with its big and active community however has given me new hope and enthusiasm.
A short Tale about my Logo
Quantum computers are fascinating and will enable new possibilities. Schrödinger's Cat is the first example you get told about concerning quantum mechanics. One could build a quantum computer using Schrödinger's Cats (although it would be inhumane and impractical). The internet loves cats.
Ergo: The Quantum Cat was born.
My first Steps on Steemit
I have already written a few blog posts and have had the pleasure of getting to know a few awesome communities. For example the german D-A-CH Discord has given me a warm welcomed and I met some nice and supportive people on the SteemSTEM Discord as well. Both communities have supported me and promptly given me some advice and feedback to my posts.
So it's about time I introduce myself.

- Finished a dual education (Mathematical-technical Software Developer with Bachelor of Scientific Programming)
- Currently in the middle of studying for a masters degree in Computer Science
What I'm interested in
I suffer from very widely varying interests. Sadly I have less time available than I would like to dedicate to all those interests. For this reason I will only list the ones I am pursuing most actively at the moment.
First an foremost I am interested in anything Computers. Be it Hardware or Software, practical or theoretical, chances are I'm interested. However you can't loose your heart to Computer Science without at least a basic affinity for Mathematics. It can be quite fun to crack your brain about some purely mathematically theoretical problem from time to time. Computer Science and Mathematics aren't the only things that fascinate me though. Physics too has wonder upon wonder in store for you. It manages to surprise and baffle me again and again. Being a space-nerd like I am, you can't help but dip your toe in the sea of astronomy. I only just started on that hobby though.
I have of course other interests apart from these academical ones. I am no robot after all. I like to spend my free time with computer games, playing the guitar and reading science fiction or fantasy books. I even managed to keep programming as a hobby in spite of my profession. Favourite language: Go. My oh-no-keep-that-away-from-me language: JavaScript and its siblings.
Before we go on to the next topic of my introduction I should mention one more character trait of mine. After all, this is the one that got me into blogging in the first place. I am most curious and a certain need to share my knowledge whenever I found something new that fascinates me.
My Goals on Steemit
I am a firm believer that knowledge is for everyone and there can be nothing good coming from keeping your knowledge to yourself. Two heads are better than one and it only ever gets better with more. Together we can discover way more than on our own. As a result of this belief I hope I will be able to infect you with my curiosity and my fascination. Whenever I discover or learn something that fascinates me, I will try my best to write a well researched, but before all else an easily understandable post. It is not going to be easy but I will give my all to pass my curiosity and my fascination to everyone, including those who may not have heard of the topic before.
Critique
There is one more important thing I want to bring up before wrapping this up. Please, please, please, critique me! Point out any mistakes I make or if you didn't understand something. That's what the comments are there for. Only through criticism and feedback can we evolve and only this way can I provide you with better content next time. No one ever died of shame and making mistakes is only human. Not admitting to mistakes you made, for reasons of pride or other pseudo reasons is the only morally wrong course of action. That kind of behaviour hurts and damages any community. I only want to contribute to and help the community by gathering easily digestible knowledge.
As long as they are objective and not insulting I am open to any discussion in the comments as well.
