...Now the windows are clean.

I am not sure of the last time I cleaned the windows of our apartment, but they needed it and have done for some time. Yesterday I bought a Karcher window cleaner vacuum that made the job easier and a little less dangerous. The balcony glass is designed in a way that gives people a plausible excuse to still get insurance after suicide - or murder.

"He was cleaning the windows."

It is funny how nearly everyone believes that they see the world clearly, that they understand it and so many think - they know all the secrets. The higher the delusion it grandeur and larger the who one has, the more they believe they know and as a result, think everyone should pay them heed. Of course, all those that don't listen to their desperate calls for attention are lesser beings who just don't see the "truth".

The internet is full of these types and empowers them as they can hide themselves in many ways and, never need be held accountable for their behaviour. In my experience, don't trust the advice of people with no skin in the game.

The internet is a funny place as while it connects people, it also collects people and no matter the kink a group can be found, an echo chamber that supports, ramps up and encourages polarization. These groups then get charged with the spirit of pride and as a result, prejudice too. My group is better than yours.

Someone recently said I am a Marxist because I encourage diversity and believe there is strength in it. Perhaps I should go back to my own country?

I am born in Australia to a mother who has English, German and Spanish ancestry, and a father who had Indian parents, but born in Malaysia while I live in Finland and am married to a Finn with a daughter who is a dual Finnish Australian citizen. Yeah, fuck diversity.

But, there is more to diversity than what country or race as I see those as arbitrary and unimportant. Skill diversity is something I take stock in, which is why I have spent a fair bit of my life increasing my own. Those with narrow skills are potentially valuable, but they are always going to be limited and require support in the areas that they are unable to act in.

When it comes to raising my daughter, I encourage her to find what she enjoys and do that, but do not only do that. Things change in this world and narrow skills don't always adapt.

It is funny to note that often, the people who think themselves the smartest and most knowledgeable are also the people who are not listened to. They of course think it is because everyone else is just too stupid, but never consider that it is they who are delusional. The last person to know a crazy person, is the crazy person themselves.

For the most part, I find a lot of the internet filled with attention seekers who create drama in an attempt to satisfy the sadness of their lives. When people pay attention to them they feel important and justified regardless of what kind of attention it is because they always believe they are right, no matter the evidence, no matter the flaws in logic, no matter the bias they hold in the way they see themselves and their opinions.

Everyone believes they are right until they find out they are wrong. Some never find out though, because they avoid anything that contradicts their position. They talk about all the things they are going to do but never actually do. "I am going to reveal to you all the most amazing thing... Tomorrow".

Of course, tomorrow never arrives because it is always today.

On Steem the same kinds of people are the ones who threaten to leave but never do, say they are powering down because of this or that but they have powered down consistently always. You know, people with questionable ethics who bend their perspective to suit their desires of the moment, no matter how inconsistent their actions become. Unstable minds that don't deal well with instability.

You will see them around, you might even see them comment on this post with all of their wisdom and insight. More attention seeking behaviour, they will deny it though as their delusion of grandeur makes them believe that what they have to say is important.

Most of them though just come across as lonely and sad people with not much better to do in this life. Another funny thing that the people who know so much on the internet don't seem to actually do that much in the real world. You'd think with all that skill they would use it to help people but instead they play at helping people because, their knowledge is just that useful.

They'll get on their high horse with all the pomp and flair they can muster but, it is just more drama, another call for attention to feed their ego.

Ever wonder what happens to these kinds of people in old age? I don't.

The windows are clean, the child is asleep and I think it is time for a quiet coffee.
