When I saw this topic, the first thing that came to my mind was that I have never really felt the pressure to look successful.

Maybe that sounds strange because these days, there is so much pressure on people to show that they are doing well. But personally, I see that kind of lifestyle as living a fake life, and I would rather be honest about where I am.

I don't see any reason to pretend that I have what I don't have just because I want people to think I am successful. If I am still struggling, learning, building or trying to find my way, then that is simply where I am at that moment. I don't think there is anything shameful about it.

These days, social media can make this difficult for some people. If you visit social media so much you will see people posting expensive cars, beautiful houses, nice clothes, vacations and all kinds of achievements. Sometimes, you can look at someone's life online and think they have everything figured out.

But we don't really know what is happening behind those pictures. For me, I would rather people see me for who I truly am, I believe there is more value in being genuine than trying to impress people. In fact, I think pretending to be successful when you are not can sometimes work against you.

What if there is someone who genuinely wants to help you, support you or connect you with an opportunity, but because of the way you present yourself, that person thinks you don't need anything?

Maybe a helper could have located you, but because you are busy trying to show everyone that you have already made it, the person might think, "This person is already doing fine. What can I possibly do for them?" That is something I think about.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to look good or enjoy the things you have worked for. If I eventually become successful, I will definitely enjoy my success but I don't want to create an image of success before the reality is there.

I would rather someone see me as I am and know that I am still building. If I need help, I should be able to say I need help, if I don't have something, I don't need to pretend that I do and if I am working towards something, I don't need to announce that I have already achieved it.

I also believe that everybody has their own timing, someone might be ahead of me today, but that doesn't mean I will always be behind. Life is not a competition where everybody has to reach the same destination at the same time.

Sometimes, the person who looks like they are doing the least is actually preparing for something big. They may be saving money, learning a skill, building a business or simply trying to get their life in order. Those things may not look impressive from the outside, but they can make a huge difference later.

So, if you ask me whether I would rather look successful now or build a life that will genuinely make me successful later, my answer is simple, I would rather build.I don't want to spend my time trying to convince people that I have made it because I want to actually make it.I want whatever success I achieve to be real, not something I have to maintain just because people already have a certain impression of me.

I would rather be known as someone who was honest about their journey than someone who created a beautiful picture of a life that didn't really exist.I am not ashamed of being a work in progress. If I am still building, then I am still building.

And who knows? Maybe by being honest about where I am, a helper might locate me when I need one. I would rather leave that door open than fake success and accidentally chase the right people away because they think I already have everything.

For me, real success is not about looking like you have arrived, It is about actually getting there.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
