This time I bring you a bag to keep the garlic, they had another one but it is already a little peeled by the years and use, I also have to replace the onion bag but I have to take one step at a time.
To make the garlic bag I used the following materials that I will show you below and step by step I made this simple craft.
Materials:
White mesh fabric
White satin fabric
White foami
White thread
Light brown thread
White elastic cord.
Jute rope.
Water
Scissors

En esta ocación les traigo una bolsa para guardar los ajos, tenían otra pero ya está un poco pelada por los años y el uso, también tengo que reponer la de las cebollas pero debo dar un paso a la vez.
Para elaborar la bolsita de los ajos utilicé los siguientes materias que les mostraré a continuación y paso a paso come fui elaborando esta sencilla manualidad.
Materiales:
Tela de maya blanca
Tela satinada blanca
Foami blanco
Hilo blanco
Hilo marrón claro
Cuerda elástica blanca.
Cuerda de yute.
Agua
Tijeras
Compás
Regla de medida
Hoja de papel
Lápiz
To begin the craft, the first thing I did was to make two circles with the compass, one with a radius of 1.5 cm and the other with a radius of 3 cm.
Para comenzar la manualidad, lo primero que hice fue dos circunferencias con el compás una de un radio de 1.5 cm y otra de 3 cm.
I cut them out and first transferred the one with a radius of 3 cm to the white foami, to cut it later.
Las recorte y transferí primeramente la que tenía un radio de 3 cm al foami blanco, para cortarla posteriormente.
Then, I transferred the smaller circumference of a 1.5 cm radius to the white satin fabric, to cut it later.
Luego, transferí la circunferencia más pequeña de un radio de 1.5 cm a la tela blanca satinada, para cortarla posteriormente.
I cut out a rectangle from the mesh fabric measuring 12cm wide by 24cm long.
Paso a recortar un rectángulo de la tela de malla con una medida de 12cm de ancho por 24 de largo.
I fold the rectangle in half keeping its 24 cm side, leaving me a rectangle of 6 cm wide by 24 cm long. I sew a few stitches.
Doblo el rectángulo a la mitad manteniendo su lado de 24 cm quedándome un rectángulo de 6 cm de ancho por 24 cm de largo. Lo cosi dando unas puntadas.
I join the circumference of foami to the maya fabric that will be the bottom of the bag I am making, I sew with scalloped stitches all around the edge joining the two pieces.
Paso a unir la circunferencia de foami a la tela de maya que será el fondo del saquito que estoy elaborando, coso con puntadas de festón por todo el borde uniendo las dos piezas.
Now I have the bag ready and I am going to hem the top.
Ya tengo listo el saquito ahora voy hacerle un dobladillo en la parte superior.
With the help of a hair clip I pass the elastic cord through the hem, tie it, cut the excess and here I have the bag for the garlic.
Con ayuda de un gancho de pelo paso la cuerda elástica por el dobladillo la anudo, corto el sobrante y listo aquí tengo ya el saquito o bolsita para los ajos.
I am going to make a decoration for the bag, using the two satin fabric circles with which I will make some small garlic ornaments. I start by stitching around the edge of the circle, I curl it a little to place a little stuffing, you can use whatever you have at hand, I used a stuffing that they sell to make stuffed animals, it is a synthetic material. After placing the stuffing I press the seam and start stitching in the center so that it doesn't come loose.
Voy a elaborar una decoración para la bolsita, utilizando los dos círculos de tela satinada con los que haré unos ajos pequeños de adorno. Comienzo dando unas puntadas por todo el borde del círculo, lo rizo un poco para colocarle un pelín de relleno, pueden usar el que tengan a mano, yo utilice un relleno que venden para hacer peluches, es un material sintético. Después de colocar el relleno aprieto la costura y comienzo a dar puntadas en el centro para que no suelte.
Now I just need to mark the cloves of what will be the head of garlic, with stitches from the center outward, ending again in the center, so I was marking each of the cloves of garlic.
Ahora solo me falta marcar los dientes de lo que será la cabeza de ajo, con puntadas del centro hacia afuera, terminando nuevamente en el centro, así fui marcando cada uno de los dientes de ajo.
Once the garlic heads are ready, I will make a loop with the jute rope by doubling it. Having the ribbon and the garlic heads ready, I join them together with a few stitches.
Ya teniendo lista las cabecitas de ajo paso a elaborar un lapso con la cuerda de yute poniéndola doble. Teniendo listo el lazo y las cabecitas de ajo, las uno con unas puntadas.
The bag is then decorated with a few stitches, the ribbon is placed and the garlic bag is ready.
Paso a adornar la bolsa dando unas puntadas colocó el lazo y queda lista la bolsita para ajos.
