Further to my previous post, after strolling along the Chao Phraya Riverside, I decided to revisit Wat Sanam Nue to survey some more fascinating things that I missed since my last visit a long time ago.

One among the beautiful architectures in Wat Sanam Nue is this stupa or chedi, called “Phra Chulamanee Chedi”. It’s one of the most significant things in this temple. The shape of this chedi is beautifully in Mon style.

It’s situated in the middle of the large pond. There are many other small chedi in the back yard which make the area look more picturesque.

Besides, the surrounding nature is nice with the shades of many trees as well as lovely flowers. The atmosphere is tranquil which is good for relaxing.

Last but not least, the pigeons standing on the chedi with the bright blue sky and plenty of white clouds are my most favorite and these made my day much more special.
