Hello again, it's good to see you! I hope your day was great.

I tried again on my plumbing project. I failed again on my plumbing project. I have postponed it until I can go shopping for some copper fittings instead of the brass fittings I'm currently fighting with.

So, instead of doing contortions in the basement installing plumbing, I spent most of the day doing some very long overdue spring cleaning/hoard reduction. Rather than feel like I've been procrastinating for 8 months (which is the truth, of course), I'm looking at it as an early start on next year's clean up.

I know that there are folks in the world who truly struggle with hoarding, and I'm not trying to make light of that. What I consider my "hoard" is really not that bad of a collection of things. But I have decided I would like to sit on the small sofa in my bedroom, rather than use it as a laundry basket/filing cabinet/bookshelf/craft center/veterinary shelf/blanket chest/bedside table/computer desk/linen closet/goodwill collection.

Yes. It really was performing all of those functions. Everything that was heaped on it either has a proper location in my home that I, until today, hadn't been bothered to take it to, and what was left was packaged up for the goodwill store, thrown in the recycling bin, or trashed.

Then we sat on it.

It's quite comfy!

There were quite a few other things that have been "stored" elsewhere in the bedroom for a while that were hauled to the basement where the actual storage is. There is a long way to go still, but just removing part of the clutter is relieving.

Also baked a bunch of bread today:

And remembered to take a sheep picture while out for my bedtime check!20171111_200047.jpg

Also got a (admittedly not great) picture of our cat, Roscoe, being very regal.20171111_195959.jpg

That's about it! Tomorrow is going to be a big busy day again, so it's time for me to head for bed. Have a great night and see you next time :)
