I am New here
Not just new to Hive or the New internet, but also new to all the tech advancements.
Hi everyone, I am Tang Gideon, a young semi-introverted man from the Northern part of Ghana with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Don’t get me wrong, the degree is just a paper, like I said, I’m new here.
This is me
I realized my lacking in my field of study and it might have been because I wasn’t exposed to opportunities that would push me out there to see the happenings of the new age, and so I decided to explore, venture and learn the new stuff, and that brought me to Hive.
I sought out to join seminars, conferences, competitions maybe but just anything that would give me a foothold on what I have been missing, so when the Hive conference flyers started circulating, I took a chance at it, traveling over 500km to join a one day conference, but I guess that was how determined I was.
I got there in time, saw the start of the program, sat through most of it but unfortunately couldn’t finish it because I had to catch a bus back. But I heard a lot, I learnt a lot and now I know a lot. There are technologies far beyond our front yards and a lot we can tap into and leverage and I’m not missing out on opportunities anymore.
So once again, I’m new here and I am excited to be part of the New Internet and I am glad to be a part of the Hive family.
