Lately, I’ve just been losing hope. I can’t quite put my finger on what is wrong with me, but it feels like something heavy has settled deep inside my chest. I don't know how long I’ll have to carry this, but right now, it feels like my burden alone. Imagine just needing to disappear for a while. Not wanting to do anything, not wanting to be seen by a single soul. I’m at a point in my life where I don’t even know if I’m living in my own head or if I’m just stranded in the completely wrong world. It’s hard for me to trust anyone anymore. I’ve been broken before, and sometimes I honestly feel like I can’t be glued back together. But deep down, I know I’m still searching for something bigger, something I can’t quite explain.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt lonelier in a crowded room than I do when I'm completely by myself. I talk to myself a lot, mostly because that inner voice is the only thing that actually seems to understand me. I’m a teenager now, but I still feel like I’m stuck in some dark, forgotten age. It really feels like I’m just a stranger wandering through a world I don't belong to.

I’m trying not to give up, but honestly, it feels like I’m letting go of things faster than I can fight for them. There’s a quiet peace in just surrendering, but man, it gets incredibly lonely. I’ve learned the hard way that anyone can just vanish out of your life in a second. When everyone leaves, the only thing you have left is your own heart and soul to patch up the damage. That’s why I protect the quiet voice inside me. It doesn’t tell me what to do, but it warns me. It forces me to think, to look closer, and to guard myself.

On the bad days, I try to come up with phrases just to pull myself toward the light. Reflection and talking things out with myself are the only ways I keep my sanity when everything goes sideways. When I hit that wall, these are the thoughts that keep me on my feet:

I’m standing on something solid, not just empty air.

It makes me feel strong, even if I don't know how long it will last.

All I know is I have to keep standing tall

To see what’s waiting for me down the road.

The ground beneath me keeps me steady,

Even if time has made it feel heavy and ruined.

I’ll keep standing here, and in the end, I’ll return to it.

Maybe the places we think are messy and wrong

Are exactly where the good things finally start.

That’s where my head goes when I'm at my lowest, and that’s exactly where I am right now. I don’t know how long this phase will last. But one thing is for sure: if it’s this hard to get through, then it means I’m surviving something heavy. No matter how much my mind tries to trick me into thinking I’m completely alone or hopeless, I know it will pass. I will feel whole again.

The clock is going to tick over to the best parts of my life eventually. I know I’ll make it there—just because of what’s inside me, and what I still refuse to stop believing in.
