The biggest misconception about Organic food is that Organic alone is great. As a child growing up I think I learned a very important lesson about being Organic that I would like to share with the world.
Organic is a way of life. Organic is the circle of life and not merely a label from the USDA or another authority. That is where people go wrong and misunderstand what “us” organic supporters are really trying to accomplish. The fact that food does not have pesticides, has been taken care of assumedly with love and compassion is exponentially more important than mass production, machine insertion and industrial destruction. It floors me that the Organic movement has been reduced to a label.
The nature of Organics is to be opposed to corporate interest that conflict with human interests. Organic is not a label, organic is not just another quality of food but instead is founded on principles of fairness, objectivity, and love. The industrial revolution has created a conformity to an artificial existence that is unrecongizable to nature. The manifestations of this conformity are illnesses such as cancer. Destruction has virtually become a state of worship ever since the revolution.
Organic is about a balance between nature and not pricey food. In fact, the recipiency of nature means that organic living is something opposed to corporate indoctrination, mass production and environmental obliveration.
Organic living has the power to sustain our planet and provide economic prosperity for individuals if we stop the corporate interests that generate the enormous amounts of waste to our planet. Taking these interest out of the food supply is something real that we can accomplish. These are the kind of ideas and principles that make up what Organic is supposed to be about.
Being loving and generous does not mean you are not repelled by the values of others, corporate or individual
Balance and prosperity has little to do with selfishness and more to do with acceptance of the cycle of life and where you stand in this infinite circle.
Finally, there is no justification for natural resource destruction because Organic is not a business model it is LIFE.
