Do you want to know what you buy: real butter (made of milk cream) or just a cheap counterfeit product made of palm fat and other vegetable fats?

It is essential to say that adding vegetable fats to butter is prohibited by law. Butter is a product of fat content of 50-80%, produced from whole milk without vegetable additives.

Products that are called butter, but contain palm fat, are falsified. The main goal of the manufacturer of such counterfeit products is to save money.

To get a kilogram of quality butter, you need to process about 20 kg of whole milk. The prime cost and, consequently, the price of such a product are high, and the producer's income from such a commodity is not very high. Adding palm fat can significantly reduce costs and increase profits by selling margarine or spread instead of real butter.

Palm fat is harmful for the health, as many sources inform. There are many other sources which say it's just a normal product, and people mustn't be afraid of it.

What do you think? Is it bad for the health?

But in any case, when I pay money for butter from the milk, I need to get butter from the MILK, not from palm fat with the price of milk cream! It's just a fraud!

So how can we test the quality at home?

I took 2 different trademarks of butter, with rather high price, so it's the first sign they both must be of high quality, made of milk (as it is written in th package).

  1. we must put the butter into hot water
  2. wait until it melts
  3. look carefully

The REAL butter of high quality made of milk dissolves in water evenly and creates a thin film on the surface.

Butter with palm fat and vegetable fat - a counterfeit product - dissolves in water, creating clear boundaries.

You can see it in the video and in the photo.

In the left side - it's a counterfeit product
In the right side - butter of high quality

The price is the same!

Somebody deceives customers and makes great profit of it!

Be attentive and careful! Don't buy trash for the price of a high quality food...
