Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!
I continued knitting a warm alpaca hat.

After I knitted the fabric height I needed, I began to slightly reduce the number of loops - knit together every tenth and eleventh loops. But my goal was to eventually collect the remaining loops on a thread of yarn and pull them tight.

I wanted a lot of loops to still be left and the top of the cap was pleated.

This worked out for me. The next step is to connect the hat at the back. That's what I got!

This result satisfies me! 😃 What else do I need to do here? I have to decide how to close the small hole left at the top of the hat after pulling the stitches together. Either I'll make a big pom-pom and sew it in there, or I'll sew up the hole and make two tassels of thread there. I haven't decided yet. Now my hat is washed and is dring on the balcony ☺️😃
In parallel, I continue to work on the headband.

Like I said, I'm in no rush to do it. I love the color and the fabric itself.

White color is a very refreshing of base color. So the bandage looks more fun and festive.

I just don’t understand one thing: how could I increase the loops around the edges so much????? My canvas is now not even but crooked 😭😭😭

I still don’t understand how I did it and why I didn’t notice it right away and saw it so late. 😭 Oh no! I don't have the courage to unravel it all!!!! 😭 I will correct this curvature at the end of this work.
