Hello to all members of the #DIYHub community—I hope you have a day full of blessings☺️. I’m here on the platform to share a new tutorial on how to make a headband out of fabric yarn. It’s an easy and inexpensive project, and the best part is that we can make it in any color we like. This accessory is perfect for holding your hair back and keeping it out of your face—it never goes out of style and is great for everyday use. Without further ado, I invite you to join me in making this project.

Mi presencia en la plataforma es para compartir un nuevo contenido sobre cómo hacer una diadema con trapillo. Es un proyecto fácil y económico, y lo mejor es que podemos hacerlo en el color de nuestra preferencia. Ese accesorio sirve para sujetar y apartar el cabello del rostro, que no pasa de moda, para usarlo en el día a día. Sin más nada que acotar, los invito a acompañarme en la ejecución del proyecto.
✨MATERIALS//MATERIALES✨
- Plastic headband.
- Scissors.
- Fabric yarn.
- Crochet hook, size 5.00 mm.
- Silicone.
- Diadema plástica.
- Tijera.
- Trapillo.
- Aguja de crochet N.º 5.00 mm.
- Silicón.
✨STEPS//PASOS✨
- Cut two pieces of fabric yarn about 7 cm long, glue them to each end of the headband using silicone glue, and trim off the excess material, as shown in the photo.
- Cortar dos piezas de trapillo de unos 7 cm, pegar con silicón en cada una de las puntas del cintillo, cortar el material sobrante, como está en la fotografía.
- Now, using the fabric yarn strip, glue it around the end of the headband to cover about 3 cm.
- Ahora, con la tira de trapillo, pegar alrededor de la punta del cintillo para cubrir aproximadamente 3 cm.
- Thread the strip of fabric yarn under the headband so that it comes out the other side, then use the needle to make a loop and pull the yarn through it; this is how you start the chain stitch.
- Pasar la tira de trapillo por debajo del cintillo saliendo al otro lado y con la aguja hacer la lazada y pasar por el bucle, así damos inicio al punto cadeneta.
- Repeat the process until almost the entire headband is covered, working the stitches together so that the base of the headband isn't visible.
- Repetir el procedimiento hasta cubrir casi todo el cintillo, ir juntando los puntos para que no se vea el fondo del cintillo.
- When you reach the other end of the headband, repeat the initial process.
- Al llegar al otro extremo del cintillo, repetir el proceso inicial.
