북한산 사모바위(Samobawi Rock in Bukhansan Mountain)
Samo is a hat worn by officials during the Joseon Dynasty when wearing official uniforms, and this rock actually looks similar to Samo.
A sad legend is handed down on the rock. When a beloved woman was taken to Cheong during the Manchu Invasion of Joseon by King Cheongtaejong, a man who was waiting for her climbed Bukhansan Mountain and shed tears while looking north of Cheong and became a rock.
Climbing to the rock was prohibited due to the influence of COVID-19.
