Today a friend came to visit.
We walked down to the lake to see another friend.
His house stands right by the water.
We sat on his terrace.
Coffee in our hands. Quiet conversation.
And the view across the lake.
On the opposite shore stands my caravan.
Visible from here like a small point in the landscape.
After some time we walked over there.
Just a short distance.
From the terrace to the other side and later back home.
Not many steps.
And yet a full afternoon.
Sometimes distance is not what matters.
A lake. A conversation. A shared moment.
Small movements between familiar places.
Days like this do not need long journeys.
Just people time and a place to sit.
