We passed it during our walk through the town.
A curious figure sitting there with a book in his hands.
Stories carved into metal. Symbols and scenes from another time.
Public art often invites a short pause.
People walk by, some look, others continue.
Later in the day I returned home and went down to our lake.
Just to check if everything was fine.
There is a caravan standing there.
After winter things always need a little attention.
Dust. Dirt. Traces of the colder months.
A quick inspection showed the obvious:
Cleaning will be necessary.
Seasonal routines.
First the travel. Then the small tasks waiting at home.
Observation, maintenance, preparation.
Life often moves between these rhythms.
Exploring new places and taking care of familiar ones.
Both belong together.
