Early morning already on the move.
Our plan was simple.
Stay in Endingen am Kaiserstuhl.
But plans sometimes meet reality.
The parking area in town was completely full.
Another one up in the vineyards was closed.
Still we were already up there.
And the view was worth stopping for.
So we parked the van at a hiking parking lot and decided to walk instead.
A small hike through the vineyards.
On many slopes people were already working. Cutting the vines. Preparing the plants for the coming season.
Quiet work. Precise movements.
The landscape slowly waking up.
Later we continued driving.
Our next stop: Oberkirch.
This time we found a perfect spot.
More about that tomorrow.
Sometimes a full parking lot simply means a different path.
