Yesterday we arrived in Bad Krozingen.
But sometimes a place doesn’t feel right.
The town. The parking area. Something was missing.
So we walked through the streets, looked around, and decided to move on.
Travel allows that.
Seven kilometers later we found another place.
A small parking spot in Staufen.
Quiet. Better positioned. Open view toward the High Black Forest.
Sometimes the second choice is the right one.
From there we started our walk.
About eleven kilometers through fields and paths.
The mountains always in the distance.
A church tower rising from the village. Hills layered behind it.
Movement clarifies things.
First the wrong place. Then the right direction.
Not every stop is meant to last.
Some only exist to send you further.
Observed while moving. Left unfinished.
