I'm pretty surprised at how fast we made our way across BC. After Golden, it was pretty much a straight shot across the province. We ended up in some random place near Hope, a district municipality at the confluence of the Fraser and Coquihalla rivers. We randomly pulled over on the highway for a place to sleep and happened upon one of the most gorgeous places I have seen in a long time. It was called Flood Falls. We never expected anything like that. I wanted to stay even longer, and get more pics but as always it was a bit of a time crunch. Also was torn between doing some crazy light painting in there and actually catching up on sleep. I did manage to do a tiny bit of lightpainting but around 12PM I had to pack it in and call it a night. A few weeks later my friend posted about it on Facebook and I was like haha, I was just there. It's a small world sometimes. He actually managed to get into the waterfall, which was something I wasn't brave enough to do at the time. I mean, it wasn't exactly the right weather for it, I think when he went it must've been much warmer 馃槈
