Welcome to the family Charlie! Those who follow my posts will know that a few months ago we adopted a puppy, but the little guy sadly passed away due to a nasty parasite that found its way into his tiny body. We were shocked and very sad to have to say good bye to the pup who had only been ours for a few days, but still managed to steal our hearts!

Over Christmas we were blessed with another little chap. Say hello to Charlie! Charlie is an 8 week old Basset Hound and our new love! He is the cutest fur ball around and we are thoroughly enjoying having him as a part of our family. He is all ears, big paws and sloppy kisses!

Charlie is our first family dog and we still have a lot to learn about puppies, and how to help them grow into healthy adult dogs, but with Google at our finger tips and sound advice from our Vet, so far we are doing a good job!

We took our pup out for his first walk in the park today and he ran about like a real spring chicken, he thoroughly enjoyed it, and so did we! As I type this he is passed put in his bed exhausted from the day's outing. We are very grateful to have this little dude with us and we look forward to the adventures we will have with him!
