This week I have been working on the road and I am back in Northern Wisconsin, I think I could just about spit and hit the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Much to my surprise when I got here, the tress are starting to change color! Driving through the national Forest was incredible...

As you may or may not know our homestead in our homestead is in South Central Kentucky. Kentucky is known for its hardwood trees, they are everywhere. Timber is a big industry in the area. But the down side of hardwoods is that the fall colors are good, but not great. Maple, birch and other soft wood species are needed for the bright spectacular colors.

Wisconsin has more than its fair share of soft wood species and the start of the show is now!

Somehow the pictures just don’t do them justice. They should be in full swing in the next couple weeks.

Thanks for visiting, hope you enjoyed the stay. Will see y’all next time!
