I've decided to do a quick write up on my MK18 inspired SBR build. This build is a long time coming, the main reason I started refinishing firearms was because I wanted a FDE(tan) AR-15. I was quoted $300 for a cerakote FDE paint job, I laughed and said I can do it it cheaper...馃槀
Sooo three years and several thousands of dollars worth of equipment later, I have my "tan" AR. I went back and forth on what to do, I settle on a two tone desert camo theme.
The colors used were a base coat of Mil-Spec Tan and Annodized FDE, with stencil on top.
