Continuing on the mythological theme I'd like to share two of my new sphinx miniatures.
Unlike the most famous Egyptian Sphinx, my version has wings, which is how a lot of sphinxes used to be portrayed in ancient Greek art, a lot of them were also female.

An ancient sphinx, a silent guardian, giver of riddles and an enigma in itself. A forgotten symbol guarding knowledge forbidden to mortals. An enigmatic combination of primal animal urges and human intellect, a union of order and chaos.
