The definition of pain changes over time. When we are kids, we fall or slip up and fall; we get hurt, and that is what pain is in our dictionary. As we grow older, our wounds differ from what we face during our childhood. We have heartbreaks, accidents, mental trauma, and whatnot. By the time death is looming over us and we’re burdened with old age; the pain we have would go through is summed up to what we faced in our early years; both physical and psychiatric. We can’t say that we don’t face tailspin when we’re young or we don’t suffer from serious illness as grown-up or adults; it’s generalizing it all.
Pain is everywhere; that much of it is true. People suffer, knowingly, unknowingly, perceptively, or indescribably. To the sufferer, even the air they breathe in feels like a fume of toxic gas and smoke; when they try to open their eyes, they get jabbed by thorns in the eyes. Every day seems to be a never-ending struggle. While trying to find inspiration or some sort of motivation seems to be the right thing to do, but unsure of when and where to begin. Most of the time we don’t know where to look for the aspiration and often we’re not eager to step towards it. We’re all quite familiar with it, aren't we?
Some say I’m rather good at motivational speaking; maybe. But honestly, all I do is try to understand what the other person is facing and finding loopholes, or you can say, holes within the massive wall to just escape and be free. Once escaped, it takes time to back inside the wall, but if you’re not careful, then you may slip up faster than you think. I don’t think I have found such individuals who I could say that has a knack for such speeches, or maybe there were people who knew how to motivate, but in my case, it all fell on deaf ears. I don’t enjoy seeing people upset, that much I can tell. I rarely go out of the way to help others, but I do my best.
This is something that I have learned not to be too considerate, limit that; more important than that is being altruistic only around a certain amount of people. It’s not that every one you’ll meet is going to lure you, trap you or hurt you beyond measures; sometimes it’s about being generous towards your own self. The pain I talked about earlier, the age you’re in most of the misery comes from getting disappointed and sabotaged; it’s an imbalance ratio of how much one receives the former or latter but the agony is severe for the receiving end. You wish the world could be a better place but it’s always better than it was yesterday; it’s just not how you envisioned it to be. Does it have to be just as you imagined? Don’t you think that if you dreamt it could be one thing, that could be disastrous for someone else?
Not a motivational speaker guys, not even someone with artistic words; just an average person I am with an inadequate vocabulary. Perhaps I know pain, you can say quite familiar with it. Nothing makes sense when you are in anguish, you give up your will to understand; but when you see someone going through the same your response is either to help or avoid. Yes, avoid is also feedback because you don’t lend your comforting shoulder to everyone. I too sometimes avoid and occasionally reach out; and at times even I pull away from a hand that reaches out to help, not all reaching hands have what it takes to smooth out the wrinkles.
Should I write some inspirational stuff before I end this shitpost? I don’t know. I may borrow a few quotes here and there but I’m hardly aware if quotes do help; but not here. Maybe an original one-liner is the best for someone who’s hurting; nothing beats originality. One of the original or say unusual I’ll throw at you - regardless of how much anyone tries to motivate you, if you’re not ready, the talks won’t affect; and you decide when you’re prepared to move on. A universal truth that you should keep in your mind is “time will tell.”
