Hello friends,

I like to welcome you all to this new article. Today I'm posting an outdoor photo session of a Maroon couple. Back in time when the Dutch brought slaves from Africa to Suriname some of these found a way to escape from the bosses on the plantation fields. They ran so far as possible deep into our Amazon where the Dutch didn't dare to go. So these Africans are known as Saramacaners. They speak their own language which is a mixture of Portugese, English, French and so.

This group came back to the city and are now known as Surinamese Maroon. We all are Surinamese in first place but we all have our own roots. This couple wanted a shoot in their DRESSING STYLE. Below you will see some pictures and this is how they dress daily...
