Welcome to this great sunday post. Do you see all the jewelry an Indian bride wears on their wedding day? Sometimes I ask why? Is it really necessary?

First we need to know the roots from where it all started. Back in time the kings had great and grand wedding receptions in which they gifted lots of gold jewelry to their queens. As their children went on to marry the queen then gave her golden jewelry to her kids and so on.

Brides do wear on their wedding day nowdays to get the queen look. On the wedding day we Indians see the groom as God who is getting married. So the bride also need to shine.
Now you can find these replica bangles which aren't of real gold and not that heavy. But before it was all real and very very heavy to wear.
