'Men and women have roles. Their roles are different, but their rights are equal.'
- Harri Holkeri
Our generation is quite busy trying to prove that women can do what men can do, so that women lose their uniqueness. Women weren´t created to do everything a man can do.
They were created to do everything a man cannot do - and the other way around.
Today I want to take up the cudgels for you guys.
'A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle.' In a world where nonsense like this is celebrated by feminist movements, it´s time to stand up for the male species and recognize one thing:
Me: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
My boyfriend: Are you okay?
Me: Noooooooo, a huge spider is attacking me!
Him: Where?
Me (pointing finger to the other side of the room): There?
Him (picking it up carefully): That´s a cute one. It´s actually almost not visible.
Me: Size doesn´t matter. It´s surely a poisonous one that just wanted to kill me.
Then we both started laughing.
It doesn´t matter that we are not made to be the best leaders, firefighters, aviators or fathers. We don´t have to.
You´d rather embrace the differences between men and women. The merger of these magical discrepancies make relationships interesting, exciting and extraordinary.
Thanks for your attention, I hope you enjoyed the read :)
