EXPULSION
Bamu was not done yet. He was ready to really teach Mope the lesson of her life. Therefore, he planned to lay ambush for her on her way back home after the school closed for the day to beat her and her friends.
Unknown to Abe, Mope, Tunde and Sina
that Bamu had laid ambush. for them on the way home, they all left following the usual footpath linking the school to town. . However, Bamu in company of one of his
notorious friends, Lapo, took advantage of the thick bush on both sides of the road to execute their plans. They both hid where they would not be easily seen.
As soon as Mope and her friends got to that spot where Bamu and his friend hid, they both suddenly jumped out from the bush.
Mope and others were surprised and afraid.
They all knew what the problem was and so acted very fast. Before long, they all took to their heels and ran very fast to escape through the bush.
Bamu and his friend chased them hotly but
could not catch up with them.
Although the four of them managed to escape, they were all left with bruises all over their bodies. Mope even lost some of her textbooks and also got her uniform torn in the process.
The news of Bamu's attack on the four students soon spread. At that point, people were surprised about his devilish act as many rose to condemn Bamu. for the attack on the innocent children.
Few hours later, the parents of the four children rose to report the incident to Bamu's parents. Some concerned neighbours also joined them.
To everybody's surprise, Aduke, Bamu‘s mother did not give them a warm welcome at all. Instead, she attacked them and was ready to fight with them.
Meanwhile, Bamu had already lied to his mother that they started the trouble. Therefore, every effort they made to explain what happened to Aduke proved abortive.
Aweda was embarrased about the way his
wife handled the matter. Despite all efforts by Aweda to calm his wife, she began to rain abuses on him and even called him names. That made Aweda angry and he threatened to divorce her and also disowned Bamu but for the intervention of their neighbours. However to avoid more trouble, the four parents had to leave.
The following day at school, the Principal was very angry for such a bad behaviour from his student He was even surprised that Aduke Was not ashamed about his son's behaviour but instead, supported him. to do evil.
At that point, he made up his mind to expel Bamu from the school. He said his bad behaviour could influence other students. Immediately, the message of Bamu's
expulsion from school was communicated to his parents.
Suprisingly, Bamu and his mother received the news of his expulsion with gladness. They were not bothered about it in any way.
Meanwhile, Aweda was sad about it but there was nothing he could do but he told Bamu and his mother that they would live to regret their action.
