Growing seedlings for my gardens is a joyful experience and quite satisfying too. Here I will share a few photos of the plants inside the greenhouse, as well as, how I use hoops in the raised beds to harden them off. Enjoy!
Here I have my pepper plants and some basil growing in plug trays.
This is Blue Salvia for my butterfly and hummingbird garden... a favorite of the bees.

Here I have planted my broccoli plants under my hoop frame. I cover it with white plastic at night to hold in the heat from the day. This allows me to plant quite early here in Western, New York.
You can see that I have covered the frame with shade cloth during the day to allow good airflow while protecting the young seedlings from the strong sunlight. The tomato trays are at the far end hardening off before putting them in the ground.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my gardening techniques. They work very well for me and help me to get an early start on my plantings. I hope they inspire you to try them yourself. When it is warm enough, the hoops are easily removed and stored away until next season. Happy gardening!
