London: The people of materialistic people tend to be more and that is why they also use excessive social media. This information has come out in a study. The study, published in a magazine 'Helion', states that materialistic people behave like a digital object with their Facebook friends.

Research has shown that materialists use Facebook to achieve their goals and feel good.Philip Ozmick of Roehar-University, Bochum, the chief author of the study had said in Germany, "Materialists often use Facebook, they use their Facebook friends to increase their wealth."Research has said that the materialists keep comparing themselves with other people of Facebook.
