It's a beautiful morning here in Oregon so my daughter and I went on an early morning hike.

I packed up my bag with the essentials and away we went.

The hike follows an old rail bed along a river for a spell, then we turned left and headed up into the hills about 250 feet in elevation.

Here is a picture looking back to where we started, which is where the smaller river meets the mighty Columbia.

We started at the dot and walked south for about two and a half miles along the river then, on the way back to the dot, we looped around in the hills.

The line of green on the right that runs through our tail and to the river is a small creek we had to traverse.
