I'm a chef by trade and like just about everyone else, I love food! Food photography, not so much. I mean, the pro stuff like you see on menus is usually faked and, as I'm sure you have found out, what you get does not look like the picture.
I mean once in a while taking a picture of a special plate, fine, but your plain, toasted bagel with cream cheese every morning, no. I KNOW it taste awesome but it just doesn't translate in a 2d picture without the aroma.
That being said, let me just post a picture of my lunch for

OK, for anyone that cares I'll take you through it from the bottom up: a big slather of mayo & mustard on the bottom bun
Lettuce
Tomato
Grilled asparagus
Turkey burger
White cheddar
Roasted poblano
Yellow cheddar
Gorgonzola crumbles
Fried egg
All topped off with a toasted kaiser roll.
Needless to say (so I'll say it 馃) I am done and can't move. I 鉂わ笍 Saturday.
