I hope you are very well and are having an excellent weekend, for my part I am very well, recovering little by little from the flu that is giving everywhere in my city, returning to the theme of this post once again I join the weekend engagement proposed by the hiver galenkp@galenkp who always makes sure to bring very interesting topics, which make us be creative or analyze different situations in our lives, thus making this dynamic something challenging and interesting. I decided to choose:

Something that I am very proud of is having a family that loves board games, so I grew up in an environment where any time was ideal to play bingo, rummy, dominoes, scrabble, poker, 21 cards, ludo, monopoly and many more games that are typical of my hometown, two years ago I took the decision to move and become independent so I have been living in various parts of Venezuela, what I had not liked to travel so much is that it is difficult to get someone to play cards with, but last year I had the opportunity to come to live in Margarita Island, where I met an exceptional woman, who despite having a big age difference compared to me, her spirit and personality are younger than me, she has a vibrant aura and joy, besides being a Rummy fan like me, we clicked immediately so every night I went to her house with some dessert to play Rummy for hours while we ate or laughed at the stories we told each other.

I did some research on Google about the origin of this game to give you a more accurate idea of it:

Rummy is a game that has its origins in Romania in the 1940s, at this time there was a ban on playing cards in that country so its creator called "Ephraim Hertzano" invented a formula to be able to play without breaking the law. Rummy is a card game for 2 to 4 players, the main objective is to run out of cards, to do this you will create stairs of the same suit or groups of 3 or more cards of the same value, you can also add cards to other plays on the table, both own and other players.

In summary, it is a game that requires a lot of strategy, cunning, vivacity, and desires to win, you must also know when to give up and let go of high value cards, so when losing the game you do not add many points, I love this game for how competitive it is, in addition, to streamline the mind to make strategies quickly, if you have not played it yet I invite you to do so, it is my favorite board game!.
