I recently came across this game called The Palace on the Hill. It is a story-based RPG game that can be played both on mobile device as well as Steam. I came across this on my mobile device, so I started playing there, and later I switched to Google Play Games on PC. This is one of the best games that I have played recently. The reason is that I hardly play games these days, and I like a game that has a good story and a progress and completion part. Even though I still have not finished playing the game, I think it is an amazing experience.
This is the most interesting part of the game. They have used exclusive watercolors to design the game backgrounds and characters completely. This is what I think makes the game look appealing to everyone. The game also has a good story, and we can travel along with the character, seeing the character grow and become well established in the game. The graphics are the best part of the game, and that is the starting point where people will feel like playing this game. People who like a story-based farming game will find this game interesting. I usually don't like never-ending games. There should be some journey and destiny in the game for me. Unlimited games become boring for me.
The game is set to take place in the Villages in India during the 80s and 90s. It is about the journey of a boy who has just completed his studies and who is trying to make a living in his village. There are several opportunities in front of his eyes, and he picks some and keeps going.
I have expressed all the good things about the game, but I also have some points that could be better in the game. First thing is the fact that there is no Auto play mode in the game. I don't want to do tasks that are repeatitive. If I'm playing the game for like 100 days, I would expect options to automate some of my activities so that I can explore the world. The next thing is that the world or map is very small and the options are limited to explore. It would be nice if the game can become slightly better in terms of the story line and exploration options. I saw somewhere in the comments that people were able to complete the game in just a few days.
The other factor that I read from the comments is that ads are annoying in the game. But I bought the game immediately when I saw the experience after playing for a few hours. I also got an offer so I was able to buy the game for about 200 Rs. The reason why I buy such games is because I wanted to support the game developers who are trying to build something that is interesting. Especially if I see the game is built by a small team or a solo developer, I immediately go and buy the game. I hope the developers continue to build this game further and make it more interesting.
