After a long plane flight from Melbourne, all we wanted to do was get out and stretch our legs and get some fresh air to clear our heads.
Getting around in most Europen cities is easy, as most of the attractions and sights are within walking distance of a centrally located hotel.
An hour or so of meandering around to get our bearings and we were ready for the next few days sightseeing. Being just past the peak season, the streets were a little quieter, but still pretty busy. There wre so many little lanes and main avenues to explore. Centuries old architecture and the general vibrancy of the city had us anticipating the next couple of days.
Also, there was an abundance of sidewalk cafes and restaurants of which we would definately try a few.
Jet lag was catching up with us , so we headed to a nearby restaurant and enjoyed a big bowl on Hungarian soup. It was delicious.
