Hola, espero estén teniendo un bonito día. Recientemente fui a un evento de anime y videojuegos llamado "Otaku Festival" y me pareció buena idea compartir un poco con ustedes, hablar de algunos de los stands, mostrarles mis compras de ese día y comentarles mis impresiones sobre ellas.
Hi, I hope you are having a nice day. I recently went to an anime and videogame event called "Otaku Festival" and I thought it was a good idea to share a bit with you, talk about some of the stands, show you my purchases that day and tell you my impressions about them.
Habían emprendimientos que ya conocía y otros que no, por lo que, fue bastante chévere en ese sentido. El que más llamó mi atención, fue uno de alfombras personalizadas llamado D'Lana Store y eso se debió a varios motivos. Tenían exhibidos distintos modelos de alfombras, contaban con una pantalla en la cual reproducían videos de los procesos de elaboración de las mismas, también estaba la lana que utilizan en distintos colores, el artefacto que ocupan y un listado de precios.
There were ventures that I already knew and others that I didn't, so it was pretty cool in that sense. The one that caught my attention the most was a personalized carpet store called D'Lana Store and that was due to several reasons. They had exhibited different models of carpets, they had a screen on which they played videos of the process of making them, there was also the wool they use in different colors, the device they use and a list of prices.
Además, al acercarme al stand me abordaron de forma muy agradable y acertada, me dieron su tarjeta de presentación y mencionaron que tenían un sorteo activo en Instagram, el premio podía ser cualquiera de las alfombras que tenían en el stand. Realmente siento que, aprovecharon al máximo la oportunidad de darse a conocer y los aplaudo por eso, se nota demasiado el tiempo, la dedicación y el esfuerzo que le ponen a su trabajo.
Also, when I approached the stand I was approached in a very nice and accurate way, they gave me their business card and mentioned that they had an active sweepstakes on Instagram, the prize could be any of the carpets they had in the stand. I really feel that, they made the most of the opportunity to make themselves known and I applaud them for that, you can tell too much time, dedication and effort they put into their work.
En el primer stand en el que decidí comprar, habían muchos productos que me gustaron, en especial los lentes y un collar con ositos de gomitas de colores. Me encantó la gran variedad de chokers disponibles, fue mi primera vez viendo tantos modelos juntos y admito que los amé. Desde que vi este emprendimiento, sabía que compraría un par de cosas en él. Al inicio me enfoqué en los zarcillos, detallé muy bien cada uno y traté de elegir un par, pero al final no escogí ninguno.
In the first booth where I decided to buy, there were many products that I liked, especially the glasses and a necklace with colorful gummy bears. I loved the great variety of chokers available, it was my first time seeing so many models together and I admit that I loved them. From the moment I saw this store, I knew I was going to buy a couple of things from them. At the beginning I focused on the earrings, I detailed very well each one and tried to choose a couple, but in the end I didn't choose any of them.
Luego dirigí mi atención a los anillos, me enamoré de uno de ellos, me lo probé y tras unos dos o tres minutos, me empezó a incomodar/doler... Esto me entristeció y me recordó la razón por la que, no suelo usar ni comprar anillos pese a lo mucho que me gustan y es por mi fibromialgia. Así que, omití ese modelo y me enfoqué en los diseños lisos, delgados y ligeros, pues estos me resultan mucho más fáciles de llevar. Después de ver todos, elegí un set de tres anillos muy peculiares e interesantes, pues sentí que reflejaban súper bien mi personalidad.
Then I turned my attention to the rings, fell in love with one of them, tried it on and after about two or three minutes, it started to feel uncomfortable/hurt... This made me sad and reminded me of the reason why, I don't usually wear or buy rings despite how much I love them and that is because of my fibromyalgia. So, I skipped that model and focused on the plain, thin and light designs, as I find them much easier to wear. After seeing them all, I chose a set of three very peculiar and interesting rings, as I felt they reflected my personality very well.
También escogí un choker negro de corazón, el cual me hizo muy feliz porque justo quería uno así. La presentación de la compra estuvo muy cuidada y eso me encantó, tanto así que les hice la mención. Me pareció chévere decirles directamente, lo mucho que me gustó. Realmente amé las bolsitas todas bonitas con frases y el sticker, admito que, quedé encantada con cada detalle.
I also chose a black heart choker, which made me very happy because I just wanted one like that. The presentation of the purchase was very neat and I loved it, so much so that I mentioned them. I thought it was cool to tell them directly how much I liked it. I really loved the cute little bags with phrases and the sticker, I admit, I was delighted with every detail.
Por último, vi un stand en el que habían dos emprendimientos y uno de ellos era Sugar Magic, tenían disponible un producto que no había visto antes... Cinta adhesiva fluorescente que brilla en la oscuridad y se carga con luz artificial, me pareció muy curioso por lo que, decidí comprar un metro de cinta amarilla. Aún no la he usado, pero tengo pensado emplearla en un futuro no muy lejano y compartirlo por acá.
Finally, I saw a stand where there were two companies and one of them was Sugar Magic, they had a product available that I had not seen before... Fluorescent adhesive tape that glows in the dark and is charged with artificial light, I found it very curious so, I decided to buy a meter of yellow tape. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to use it in the near future and share it here.
La verdad es que, me encanta hablar acerca de los emprendimientos de mi ciudad (Maturín) y mostrar un poco de lo mucho que hacen. Sé que no es nada sencillo ser emprendedor y considero que correr la voz, es una buena forma de apoyarlos.
