On Sunday, November 19th Community Solidarity transformed the weekly Hempstead, Long Island Food Share into what's called the Vegan Thanksgiving Bonanza.
In addition to sharing over One Hundred Thousand pounds of Thanksgiving groceries, clothing and books - we also dish up a cooked vegan feast made up of dozens of delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages.
It's all part of our annual Thanksgiving celebrations. This event will be the largest Community Solidarity Vegan Thanksgiving ever and it will be the embodiment of a community that is standing in solidarity against racism, sexism, xenophobia, hunger, and poverty.
