Good evening! Last night I did a little progress on my first art story video. I did the storyboard weeks ago though unfortunately I got sick losing my motivation to work on the video.
Last night, I got the strength to open my notebook and refresh my mind of the images I've drawn. I guess it's good to take a break for awhile because it gave me additional ideas for the video. Actually, I haven't done much I just marked the repeating scenes with orange highlighter, and I kind of regret it because the color was too bright that my eyes doesn't feel comfortable looking at it. 馃槅 I should've just used blue or violet.
I've been also busy reading the blue self-help book by Mark Manson. On this part, it talks about how religion makes us believe in something that would bring us to salvation, thus, giving us hope. Of course this does not only involve the religion with intangible entities. You should get a copy and read it if you want to find out. 馃檲
Although he mentioned that religion is more welcomed by communities or people who are downtrodden, deprived, or basically just hopeless. This makes me come to a realization. Is this why majority are religious here in my country? 馃 Because life is hard, people cling into something and give their faith to it to numb themselves from reality and make themselves believe that it will be better in the end. Well, religions can have a positive and negative effect. Just get the book if you want to know more. 馃槅
