I felt the panic with little Genie. The water at her chin was a clear visual in my mind. I especially loved this line also cool water running over her hot feet It reminded me of the hot tiles in summer

Was Isabella a descendant of Hunch? She had the ears of an elf, and knew of the story of how the grey faced curse came about. But was it Hunch in disguise? Or was it just another elf who knew of the curse.
