I felt the panic with little Genie. The water at her chin was a clear visual in my mind. I especially loved this line also

cool water running over her hot feet

It reminded me of the hot tiles in summer that surround the pool. Always seemed like you couldn't get into the water fast enough 😅

Glad that Genie learned her lesson, but wanted to see what kind of plan she might have cooked up to get back at the leprechaun in time. ha ha
