As I always say: this world is chaotically beautiful. There are things we love; there are things we hate. But the thing is, it is we. Just because we accept it, it is easy to run. But the discussion is not of we, it is of the system we all live in.
Let me quote few examples, and most probably, the examples will be self explanatory. Moreover, there will be analysis in it. So let the mind go wild, read the post, and go with your interpretation.
So, example number one is of: moneylenders. Imagine a life maybe 30 years back. The technological advancement is there, but the world is still in the phase. Now, at that time, there is draught like situation. Sad life, isn't it? Because, farmers are the backbone of every time. There is no miracolous way for us to eat without them. But this is draught like situation we are talking about. What do we do next? Well the world will manage. Everyone is sad, but there are few who will be earning from it - the moneylenders. The moneylenders deliberately want such situations, because farmers will have to lend from them. And of course, this with a good interest in back.
This system turns human suffering into profit making.
And I am not saying that it is completely wrong, because it is not. Why would I give someone my money without anything in return? Oh, I am also a part of this system, so my thought processing is also filtered in such manners. Back to some "We." We are not merely victims or beneficiaries of the system; we participate in and reproduce the system because we have to live within it.
Now, let us move towards a more institutionalized way: the banking system. Imagine this: life humbles you. Because why not? There is this class system. Maybe you need money for health concerns, house, educatiion or business. There are few options on the table: asking a friend (music meme); work your az$ off and be in your 50s already; or go take a loan. The bank is providing service, and I do agree with the agreement. So there is nothing wrong with it.
Time to look at the situation from another angle: the person needs money because of some necessity, while the bank makes money by providing that money. And in my country, where everyone is being hit by the inflation; there is this banking sector always in profit. By the way, my town is currently full of banks. Like every other building is just so full of it.
Anyways, this system is only flawed, because I am not earning the richness.
I wonder if, I start to earn this great amount, will I ever talk about the flaws of this system? Well I know one thing for sure: there will be no time for such wondering. Let the money fall!
This raises a milllion-dollar question: if we all agree that this system has flaws, what exactly do we do about it?
Maybe we should burn the banks? Or how about "Money Heist" realistic edition? Take that money, distribute equally and call it a day? Sounds revolutionary though. But I am not sure if it will survive a single day.
By the way, this revolutionary thing reminds me of something: who is going to do this. Because I am too lazy to go out, and fight for my rights.
But I can try with the answers.
Because every revolution started with the writing and spread of words. So the people of this world, here me out.
The thing is we do not need to destroy the entire system. Maybe we need to put some friction in-between. Let people earn freely. Let businesses go wild. Let the lenders lend. Let people - like me - be rich. There is nothing inherently wrong in any of that.
But the red-line is to not treat basic necessirt as an opportunity.
A farmer should be allowed to borrow money without being trapped for generations. Becuase, sometimes, mother nature treats us as step-mother. Maybe we deserve it, because we are spoiled childre; the way we treat her. Moreover, a person should be able to receive medical treatment without believving that sick might financially destroy the upcoming generations as well. Or education should not become unreachable because I was born on the wrong side of the class system.
Maybe the real problem is: maximum profit. The approach should be profit with responsibility, freedom with regulations and competition as an opponents not villains.
I know, I know. This sounds idealistic. But at least let the thoughts try. And, in the end, if you ask me about the ultimate solution. Well, I do not have any. I am still figuring it out. And with another "maybe" that is why I started talking with "we." And perhaps this where the answer lies too. Because system is not something of alien nature living on another planet. We are the system. We created it; we participate in it. We benefit from it, complain about it, and sometimes dream of becoming part of the same system.
Final announcemnt: tomorrow, the bus for revolution leaves.
Because tomorrow will be becoming today.
