Hello beautiful folks! Hope you are all are doing great and enjoying the beloved wintner season. November— my birthday month — has always been special for me. But this year, it is different primarily because of my journey on the Hive platform. I joined this amazing platform back in January 2025, and since then I have just been learrning, growing, stumbling a bit (or actually a lot) and growing some moree. As recently, one wise soul said, "**Slow and steady is much kinder to your mind** ", and honestly, I felt that piece in my bones.
Anyway, enough with the history. The real point here is my steady and surprisingly steady progress. I started this month with 300 Hive Power and fixed my goof reaching 400 Hive Power. At first, I thought that it would be difficult to achieve such amount for a modest-user like me. But, I was wrong and the biggest reaon, in my opinion, was the '**dip**'. Throughout November, I could convert 1 HBD for 7-9 Hive. And for that special thanks to all the 'curators', 'Ecency (waves)' and 'commentrewarder/s' for their benevolent services. As their services were of great help to me in reaching my goal so early.
To stay consistent, I had decided to make 3 to 5 meaningful comments on daily basis for the long-form content. In the beginning, I was busy with my university schedule, exams and all in-between. But, once free, I jumped right back into the routine. Since then, I have been interacting, reflecting and dropping my boring -not-so-boring opinions and ideas.
Then, there is 'Waves', although, I love to use it, but I still feel that it lacks deeper and meaningful engagement. It has quantity, yes — but lacks quality. Then again, it is built for shorter content, so maybe this us just part of its personality.
Moving forward, I received a bonus (incoming 2,000 HP delegation, not tagging because I think it is unethical without permission). I must say, I had no expectations at all. All I did was present my "resume" in the form of a comment. The next morning, the delegation was there. So yes guys, engagement do come in handy. It actually made my whole day special, as everything felt like a calm, gentle breeze.
As for the last week of November, I am thinking of pushing my HP to 450, as I am not a huge fan of HBD when it comes to powring up. HBD is good but I think that it more individual/self-oriented, while on the other hand, Hive (Power) is a communal service and in return, one is also achieving self-goal. Simply, helping others while helping yourself.
But beyond the numbers, delegation, rewards and all that capital/economical stuff. I came across posts that deconstructed many of my ideas — like the omr reminding me yo "write rather than wait (as this was my whole purpose)" — and yes, the Christmas Cactus Tree (which I genuinely diid not know know existed). This globalized world is really something else: full of ideas, perspectives, surprises, moments of awes and joys, constructing and deconstructing of thoughts.
Learning, growing, teaching and earning... Honest, what more could a regular human ask for?
