Hello to the people of this chaotically beautiful world.

Maybe it is time to change the way, I say hello! But, hey, this is me, and I think this world is a sort of paradox.

Anyways, this post is going to be sort of my personal understanding with Hive.

So here we go.

The thing is when I joined "Ecency," as I was unaware of Hive being a thing, I came here from "Medium" platform. Assuming that you all know about Medium blogging platform, we move forward. So, from my personal experience, there is a big difference between Hive and Medium. Medium does provide good earning ways, but it is more of a fake culture. And in a capital society, Hive has way lots of ways to earn. But today, this capitalism is not our concern.

Hive gives you the absolute right to be YOU!

For this let me give you an example, there are tons of communities. Each with its own specificalization and rules. So, it is open for all. All you need is a humanly brain, some effort with your niche, and desire to work in favor-for-favor environment. And you are good to go.

You select your niche; you write the way you want to. And with this freedom of speech, you are also earning some good sum. If not good, at least no one is going empty handed. But, remember this: work is the key here. Yes, if you have given enough time here, and climbed up the ladder; then you have the chance to earn way more than handsome amount. And this is totally fine, if you ask me, because that climbing up the ladder thing is not a coincidence. The elites of this platform has really worked for it. So you cannot blame or say that there is some sort of injustice.

Back to the personal story.

As said earlier, when I joined here, I came from Medium platform. And Medium, as I beleive, demands sort of perfection. You need proper grammar, good command on language, and the list goes on. But, on Hive, it is a lot different. I can write here, with my broken English. I can choose the community or topic, I want to write on. And luckily I did! Yes, in the beginning, I tried to be perfect. But it was all in vain. And at that moment, I really did not understand it. Until, there was this moment, when this beautiful person asked me about the Em-dash. That single question really changed my journey. Since that day, I have stopped running after perfect, and chose to write my heart out. Lots of the time, I really get carried away - even deleting some repeated ideas. However, there is one bad habit of mine: I do not like to read my own post. Lol! It has been this way since my school days. My parents and teachers used to say that I have to correct my grammar and this repeating thing, but I never paid much heed there. So, I have just accepted it as my good to go thing. I am just too shy to reread my own content.

The purpose of this post is more like a suggestion to the newbies, try to be you. It will work out way better than achieving perfection. As more recently, I have seen few posts trying to go after that perfection thing.

Pour your heart out in doing anything.

Be passionate! Pour your heart out in writing, capturing, sharing or anything. For me, it is writing; for you, it can be photography. I like to keep my tone semi-casual rather than formal, because this formality thing seems boring - especially with the family like environment. And Hive does provide this kind and loving environment.

In the end, as Ralph Waldo Emerson famously said: "To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."

Peace 🕊️
