One of last days here in US. Mount Rushmore is a symbol for every American patriot. The face of the four presidents, carved into the mountains.
This monument is huge, of course, but at the same time, the distance between the visitors and the stone faces is so long that faces seems small.
It’s difficult to explain.
Anyway, we visited the monument at both day and night, when, after a short show the lights are turned on Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt and Jefferson.
