Welcome my good friend, Mark. It's not everyday you come across someone that has the energy to make the most out of everyday. He is a true down-home country-boy. You could say I am inspired with the motivation of capturing a moment or two in his life to share. It is too often I come across individuals that do not steer away from a dormant path. Day in and day out, customary actions take over. I can't say if there might be any notion, from a pre-programmed lifestyle, in whether there is a level of spontaneity begging to surface. However, it becomes quite apparent once you do meet someone that has the ability to live outside those common grounds of the road most traveled.
Like any loving father and grandfather, he always goes out his way to make sure he provides for his family, along with anyone around him. He makes sure to hone in on those skills that have always worked best in human history, hunter gatherer.
Time to ring that dinner bell!
When he is not patiently waiting up in the hide, you can also find him over water conducting the age-old method of fly-fishing. You could assume his Native American heritage keeps him balanced with the land and it's offerings.
It's not always about the hunt. Golf is also added to his list of outstanding activities. Once the weekend hits, no golf tournament win is beyond his reach. Thereafter, he'll take those winnings, and again, make the most out of another type of gathering.
I was always told you can do whatever it is you want to do. However, it's a very large playing field and how well do people live up to that. Mark has a genuine sense of wisdom from an experienced life. He lives true to the golden rule of reciprocity and sees the best in people. Myself, being in the arts, have come across many types of works from very different individuals. Yet none can live up to my buddy Mark, with nature as his canvas.
