‎Mark was a young man who lived with his younger brother, Parker. They were very close and friendly. But Mark had never taken his brother's gift seriously. Parker had a special ability to interpret dreams, and many times, his interpretations had turned out to be true. Mark had always believed it was just a coincidence.

‎Mark and his brother Parker went to the field to watch a football match. After the match, they came back home very late. That night, as Mark slept, he had a terrible dream. In the dream, he was walking home from the market when he saw a black dog standing in the middle of the road.
‎
‎The dog began to chase him. He ran as fast as he could, but the dog kept getting closer. Just when he thought he had escaped, he saw a tall man standing in front of him, holding a broken bottle.
‎
‎The man warned him never to enter a particular building. Before Mark could ask any questions, the ground began to shake. He fell into a deep hole, and that was when he woke up.
‎
‎Mark couldn't sleep again. He kept thinking about the dream and wondering what it meant.
‎
‎ The following morning, he told his brother, Parker, everything that had happened in the dream. When Parker listened to the dream, he became serious. “Brother, this dream is a warning,” he said.
‎
‎“The black dog represents a danger chasing you,” he told him. “The man with the broken bottle represents someone who may try to harm you, while the building is a place you should avoid. Be careful about where you go and the people you trust over the next few days.”
‎
‎Mark didn't take that seriously. “You are my younger brother; I have known you since you were a little boy. How can you be someone who understands dreams? You watch too many movies,” he said jokingly.
‎
‎Parker didn't argue with him. He only advised Mark to be careful.
‎
‎Three days later, Mark received a phone call from his friend Michael. Michael invited him to a gathering at an unfinished building in town. Mark didn't remember what his brother had told him or the warning he had given him. He agreed to go.
‎
‎When he arrived, he met some young men he had never seen before. After a few minutes, they began to argue over a misunderstanding. The argument became serious, and one of the men suddenly pulled out a broken bottle and tried to use it against Mark.
‎
‎Mark was very scared. Everything looked exactly like it had in his dream. Immediately he quickly remembered Parker's words, so he ran out of the building before the situation became worse. As he escaped, he saw a black dog chasing someone near the road.
‎
‎Mark was amazed and he was completely shocked. The dream had come true. He returned home immediately and began to tell Parker everything that had happened. This time, he was no longer laughing. He was very serious. He asked his brother, “How did you know this would happen?”
‎
‎Parker just smiled. “I didn't create the dream, brother. I only interpret what I believe it means. Indeed, sometimes we receive warnings but refuse to take them seriously.”
‎
‎Mark held his brother's hand and said, “I will never allow familiarity to take over me.” Mark apologized for making fun of his brother’s words. From that day forward, he began to respect Parker's gift, listening more carefully whenever his brother shared his interpretations.
