This is an end to a chapter in the arts community here. On the blackboard was an image I chalked for one of the receptions to this special exhibition that touched on mental health. We called it Ekphrasis: An Exploration of the Mind Body Soul. We turned our downtown cityscape into an artwalk gallery, with amazing and powerful pieces from our community artists to destigmatize the reality of the many mental health challenges we all face.
