I sat there on my desk reminiscing about the old days, those days before the COVID-19 pandemic and we were all ever the place. The tragedy has come with is the share of blessings and positives too nonetheless. I went through my fun gallery and I came across a couple of pictures I took a few months before when I was at a big party. I am not a party person but I do have my moment. This was the type of party that does not happen very often, those once in a while party. The only reason I probably go to parties or even any outing at all is that it is an opportunity to take pictures, candid pictures at that; I cherish them. Today I would be sharing some of those pictures.
It was another Friday and that means it was another party. I got dressed, got my camera out, and decided to go and take photos. I got my Nikon D3000 camera that I just to and I set out. I got there pretty early and you know what that means, I had to take pictures of random people; I would be sharing those later. The Master of Ceremony for the day was DO2dtun (I don't think I spelled that right), he is a sort of MC for shows, his nickname is "energy gad" and you could see why in the below photos.
It was night already, we had partied all evening till the night, my camera is horrible in low light. There were stage lights everywhere and I tried to get the perfect angle to avoid glare and the image been overexposed. My camera is pretty bad in low light situation, hence, the digital noise. He had danced his heart out and he was in an elevated place so I just turned the camera up and click.
He was sort of listening to the audience in this photo, hence the expression. I was quite disappointed with the motion blur to his hand which I could have anticipated as he was just all over the place, moving very fast and I should have bumped the shutter speed high up. I tried to crop his left hand off but It turned into a head-shot which I wasn't satisfied with. I guess the pictures are not that bad right?
I did a bit of post-processing on Lightroom mobile. I tried to get the colors to come out a bit and also shapen the image to get more detail on his face. Thank you very much for reading
