Crisp, cold morning in Vermont. The lake had some low lying fog. The surface was flat and reflecting the mountains.
The low light was a challenge but that also reflects this time of year in Vermont. The sun was up but still low in the sky.
More color would have been nice but I like the fog and crisp reflections.
Some views like this one actually have more color in the reflection than on the mountains 馃槅
Did I mention it was crisp this morning? We had the heaviest frost so far this year. It was 27F 馃ザ
I took this photo to show the frost but it also shows that some of the trees are completely bare.
The cold morning will continue to create some fog on the lake until the water temperature of the lake drops. Water temperatures are still above 50F.
I have a love/hate relationship with this dock lol its one of the last docks still in the lake. It makes for iconic summer photos but I wish it was out for my fall photos 馃槅
