Little Kennebago Lake near Rangeley, Maine. A beautiful remote lake access by a gravel logging road. The cabin we stayed in was about 10 miles off the main road. Great getaway 🙂

Halibut Ceviche by Eventide Oyster Company in Portland, Maine. Eventide is our favorite restaurant in Portland, Maine. It is Eventide OYSTER Company so I always have a few oysters to start things off.

Lobster shack on Badger Island. Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Lobstering boats lined up. The shack is decorated with lobster buoys. Buoys are used to mark where lobster traps located on the sea floor.

The Magic Invisible Reflection Cube. Here it disappears. Its hard to even see the edge of the building in the clouds. The Cube is the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville, Maine.

The Village Marina, Watkins Glen, New York. Marinas always provide good photography opportunities. This marina is on Seneca Lake which is the largest of the Finger Lakes in New York.

Centerway Pedestrian Bridge, Corning, New York. Corning, New York is the home town of Corning Glass. The Little Joe Tower is a landmark tribute to glass blowing. The history of the tower is fascinating.

Black-eyed Susans are one of my favorite flowers. They are perennials and will spread on their own. I have a flower bed in the front of my house where I have been encouraging them to spread.

Bee working on a buttonbush. Good to see the bees busy in the yard. Our coneflowers and bee balms are popular along with the lavender.

I visited a landscaping store that had some cool landscaping of its own 🙂 A series of ponds. I'm sure there is some sort of water reclaimation/recycling going on here but I didn't ask. Nice lily pond

On a recent hike, I took a side path off the Long Trail to this stunning overlook.The Long Trail runs atop the spine of the Green Mountains in Vermont providing expansive views of the Champlain Valley

We went blueberry picking last week. It was a lovely day. We were picking at Blueberry Hill near Goshen, Vermont. There isn't much information out there which is probably ok with the locals 😉

Went out for a hike the other day and took a few pictures of the creatures in the woods with us - an eft, a toad, a leopard slug, an Eastern Newt, and an American Brook Lamprey.
