Got out for a hike in the Green Mountains recently.
Hiked along a section on the Long Trail to the Great Cliff Trail and the Brandon Gap overlook.
Its a short but steep hike.
But the view is really nice. Even though there was a little haze on the hills.
The Long Trail runs the length of Vermont from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian (Quebec province) border - a total of 273 miles. It passes through 6 different congressionally-designated wilderness areas. Our hike was in the Joseph Battell Wilderness.
